The Story  

A collaborative effort between La Competencia Imports and Freixenet de Mexico, this brand is exclusively available in the U.S.  The goal is simple, craft a collection of wines that are easy and enjoyable to drink at price points that won’t break the bank.

The initial line-up features two affordably delicious Sparkling wines, a Brut & Brut Rose.  These are complimented by two very approachable, value-friendly still wines. . . .100% Marselan and 100% Viognier.

Marselan, a cross between Cabernet & Grenache is an absolutely fascinating wine. While still relatively unknown to U.S. consmers, Marselan is one of the seven varieties permitted in Bordeaux and Bordeaux Superieur. Typically, the wines showcase a medium-body, fine tannins and an essense of cherries and cassis. It could very well become the red wine of Queretaro!
