This wine was elaborated in honor ofF rancisco María Píccolo, an Italian missionary who was chiefly responsible for introducing vines and olives in the region of Baja California. Father Píccolo worked intensely on the missions of Santa Rosalía de Mulegé and San Francisco Javier de Vigge-Biamundo.
